"They Blossom At Night" explores the materiality of a non-reproductive sexuality by elaborating a microbiological creature representing the sharing of a polyamorous intimacy. The project reclaims the symbolic power of procreation and is inspired by the strength and malleability of the pregnant and giving birth body. Through an immersive video-sound installation, the project attempts to express the hybridization between the organicity of relationships and a technology that can bring different social emancipations, in reference here to medically assisted procreation.
